This accomplished diorama probably dates to the 1970s/1980s when fiberglass art had a peak in popularity. It was inspired by the 1893 illustration by Sidney Paget in The Strand Magazine for the publication of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's short story 'The Final Problem'.
