Three green-glazed kraters, Southern Italy, circa mid-20th century

These three vintage column craters, in an chic dark green glaze, are a classical pottery form harking back to ancient Greece-with their signature column-shaped handles. They were originally crafted for mixing wine and water, and have been ever-present in the Mediterranean for centuries.

Likely made in Puglia or Calabria, Southern Italy, they're a great mid-twentieth-century find.
