Starting from the early 19th century a myriad of small potteries popped up in the North Staffordshire region producing these iconic and beloved decorative figurines, including the ever popular dogs of all shapes and colours.
What's the story of these two spaniels, one of which is chained to the barrel? And why do they look so judgmental?
